The American Wastes are made up of the vast stretches of hellish landscape and barren lands across North America. The product of various subjects (such as World War 3, radiation, global warming, famine, etc), it is home to all forms of life and ideals. Ranging from simple farmers trying to scrape a living from the dirt, to robots roaming aimlessly following the end of World War 3 and the collapse of civilization.

Small villages and towns dot the landscape, usually controlled by a small faction or the general population. They often feature a small police force, usually comprised of a sheriff and some of the local populance. There are also train tracks stretching across the wastes, used as a means of fast transportation from one large territory to another. The Republic of Texas often uses these tracks for trade and military purposes.
